I read some papers.. Saw this interesting fact all about pigs.. Just find it interesting yea.. So decided to post it... =D
"Pigs are remarkably intelligent creatures thought by many to be smarter than dogs. They can be trained to respond to simple voice commands and are easily toilet trained.
Studies have revealed that pigs have long memory and are able to focus on specific tasks even better than some primates.
Pigs are unable to sweat, instead they wallow in mud to cool down. Their mucky appearance gives pigs an undeserved reputation for slovenliness.
In fact, pigs are some of the cleanest animals around, refusing to excrete anywhere near their living or eating areas when given a choice.
Pigs develop highly complex social structures and form strong bonds with other members of their group.
At the age of around 3 weeks, piglets begin to play with other piglets, and for the majority of weeks thereafter, they will interact more with each other than with other members of their herd.
It is during this time of play and interaction that strong bonds are formed, often lasting the duration of their lives.
Pigs make excellent pets. In the recent years, the popularity of miniature and potbellied pigs has risen tremendously in western countries such as America.
Like dogs, pet pigs must go out for walks and like cats they also learn to use little box.
They enjoy a good scratch or a fun game of fetch and can easily be trained. Inaddition, they generally get along well with other domestic animals."
